Follow The Current To The Past

Delight in the sparkle of the blue waters of the St. Clair River as you enjoy a two-hour cruise aboard the Duc D'Orleans II. Savor a delicious cold-cut and salad buffet lunch aboard ship. Marvel at the majestic size of the freighters as they pass by so close you may see their crews at work. Experience the heritage of small-town Southwestern Ontario as you explore the twelve exhibit buildings of Moore Museum.

Demonstrations of seasonal activities, with tasty samples, bring the work of the past to life. Treat your senses to the sights and fragrances of Germain Gardens on a guided tour. Enjoy a muffin and coffee at the neighboring Strangway Centre.

From Settlers to the Stage

Informative entertainment is yours to experience as you explore twelve exhibit buildings at Moore Museum. Seasonal demonstrations, with tasty samples, provide for an interesting morning. Enjoy your lunch, surrounded by history, at the Museum. Your meal is a delicious home-cooked cold buffet, with home-made desserts to enjoy.

Then, be prepared for an afternoon of laughter, as you attend a matinee at Victoria Playhouse Petrolia. Professional summer theater is presented in this beautifully refurbished century-old opera house.

Sentimental Journey

Take a nostalgic excursion on the shore of the sparkling St. Clair River. Savor the old-time pleasures of a home-cooked picnic -- a leisurely lunch served buffet-style beside the river.

Recall the tastes and tasks of days gone by, as costumed staff demonstrate skills of the past, including the intriguing sight of candles being hand-dipped over an open fire and the delicious taste of butter fresh from the churn. A coffee break with a delightful scone served warm from the wood stove is also included.
