(corner of Moore Line and Ladysmith Road)
In 1882 a post office opened at Lot. 18, Con. 6 Moore. Within the next few years, the office was moved to Lot 13, Con. 7, later to Lot 21, Con. 7 and thence to Lot 20, Con. 7. The name was assigned by the postal department and its origin is apparently unknown. The post office closed in 1913.
