Lionel Model Train Room

Originally created as the travelling promotional exhibit for Lionel, the model train layouts at Moore Museum incorporate S, O and G gauge trains.  Push-button operation allows visitors to activate the seven separate trains during regular museum hours. In 2019, the scenic areas were updated with scratch-built structures and two new layouts were added: an O gauge ‘flat-top’ layout and an N scale micro layout.  Also included in the model train room are static displays of model trains and railroad artifacts.
