Victorian Children’s Day of Fun (kit)

Looking for a fun and engaging way to teach students about the lifestyle of early Canadian children? Hands on learning and physical activity meet here, with this portable and convenient kit filled with games from the Victorian Era. 

Students are given the opportunity to play games such as Battledore & Shuttlecock, Graces, Croquet, and many more! Students experience first-hand the ways in which early Canadian families used their own ingenuity and resources to create recreational activities for all ages. It is a fun way to participate in daily physical activity while reflecting on the similarities and differences of children’s activities then and now.

This kit is designed to engage students in grades 2 to 4 in active living while learning more about the past.

Cost: Cost: $30 per week $25 per week if booked for pre- or post-visit use in conjunction with a museum program
